BJ the Clown is the founder and President of Klown Kapers Inc.(founded in 1983) BJ is a certified secondary level drama instructor and holds a specialized BFA degree (and Teachers Certification) from Florida State University( 1978).BJ has worked in our local School systems as a high school and middle school drama teacher for over twenty years and has produced over 75 shows to her credit in our educational settings.

As the brain child and founder of BJS Party House, The Childrens Musical Review, and BJS Buddies TV Pilot Productions,BJ has rejuvinated the childrens musical performances venue in the South East, and has provided educational work opportunities for hundreds of up & comming artists as well as producing quality educational,live performances for thousands of children in her unique career..

BJs BFA with an emphasis on Musical theatre includes acting roles in numerous Traditional Tallahassee venues, including:FSU Mainstage productions, TCC live Theatre productions, Tallahassee Little Theatre productions, WCTV commercial spots, local interviews and published articles (Tallahassee Magazine, Tallahassees Child) as well as

performing for NBCs "Unsolved Mysteries: in 1999 (Missing Momma case) . Allthough BJ is well known to the Audiences of the North East for her "over the top" productions( and cadre of talented , performers of all ages and disiplines), BJ is also A true promoter of the arts for everyone, young and old.. BJ has devoted her life to quality performances, performers,childrens charities and promotion of the Arts in the South East.

BJS Great Uncle, Sol Solomon ( Featured on" This is your life" Sol Solomon / 1965) owned a world famous , traveling circus and (train) that was funded in part by the U.S government during World War 2 to bring joy and laughter to our troops and their families in the USA and abroad.Sol had a reknown Trained Gorilla, that always rode the rails first class with his master and in turn, that close companionship translated into a bond that allowed them to produce an animal act that was truly intellectual as well as unique. This relationship was based on mututal admiration, respect and love. and of course,t delighted the audiences of Millions during war times.

About the Co - Founder

Ceil the Clown/ Mime is a veteran performer of 20 years in many genres of performance art. A co-founder and instructor for this company, Ceil lends all of her talents to the advancement of the art forms we promote. Ceil is a beautiful and gifted sign linguist, as well as an amazing visual artist and professional Mime.

Ceil and BJ became fast and solid freinds while working together in rural Monticello Florida,under a a grant sponsored by the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs (1984). Since that time this dynamic duo has produced 3 TV pilots together ("f BJs Buddies "shows,13 educational scripts for them, and have performed for hundreds of corporate, educational and private events state wide.

Ceils beauty, grace, impeccable sense of humor is the counter part to Bjs silly, clumsy, impossible -never ending search for the answer to all questions.These two artists compliment one another like peanut butter does jelly! See these two dynamic artists at all of Tallahassees Downtown Getdowns and featured at the Semionle Village at Landis Green along with Rosie the Clown (BJs daughter!)

Ceil also designs the amazing costumes for our performers as well as producing and creating all "occasion theme decor" for our clients. Ceil specializes in Dance , modeling, and versatile vocal stage performances for all events, Ceil is a well known for her incredible collaboration with Mr. Tyger ( Balloon Art Decorating) Together the two of them can provide incredible, colorful and "Creative Columns "of balloon art and arches for all events..Ceil is also available for Mural design work for: schools, homes, weddings, theater ,churches, and much , much more.

Rosie the Clown is a certified pre-school instructor and professional dance teacher for children. Rosie has fifteen years of experience performing for and with children.Rosie was raised in the performance art spotlight and continues to develop the work of her famiys business. Rosie is an accomplished face-painting artist, and master instructor for our face-painting and body art workshops.Rosie has been face painting since she was ten years old with her Mom (BJ the Clown) At the age of ten and up- Rosie was painting childrens faces professionally at Ryans Steak House, Downtown Getdowns and for private parties.

Julies art has been exhibited at the Masters level of Face and Body Art International Competition where she will be an instructor this year,and she specializes in Special FX and Gestational baby belly art for expectant Moms!

Julie can be seen painting for people of all ages weekly at Los Amigos Restaurant on Wednesday evenings! Rosie is also featured as a master artist at the Tallahassee Down Town Getdowns and at FSU Landis green at the stadium,where she provides game faces for all ages too!

Mr. Tyger is a master (professional) balloon designer and balloon animal artist for all occasions.Mr Tyger has over 20 years of experience in his craft, and his skills are truly the best we have ever had the opportunity to represent!!!If you can think it, he can create it! Mr. Tyger is witty, funny and courteous to all!

Mr. Tyger is available to provide intricate balloon columns, arches, and event decorating for any event, large or small. With a talented group of young professionals, Mr. Tyger is able to efficiently provide awesome, unique designs for all occassions. Fearless the Magician is a bright and creative entertainer, with great sleight of hand skills including:, disappearing objects, sponge ball tricks, rope tricks, card tricks, coin tricks, mentalism , simple levitation and Houdini (Escapism) magic. Fearless enjoys walk around performances and Houdini magic for adult venues and stage performances for children's events.

Fearless has a black belt in karate and teaches this art form as a profession. Fearless is also a character actor and applies his black belt skills to the portrayal of his super heros persona! No other actor can bring the skills of black belt to the art form like Fearless, and this capability coupled with his undeniable affinity for children and his chosen art form makes Fearless a class act, who is always in great demand!..Fearless is an engaging, fun, and humorous entertainer and audiences of all ages enjoy his performances!! Neil -is a One of a kind ,(former Disney) Quick Sketch Artist whos talent is undeniable Incredible Neil produces beautiful COLOR 11x14 chalk drawings of his clients (in character or portrait genres). Neil is also a perceptive and outstanding oil artist (30 years) and has his own studio in Monticello , Florida .

Cornelius has been with BJs Party House now for 15 years..One of Neils first commissioned works with BJs Party House, was cartooning the entire cottage at Lake Ella - 1990) Neil has been featured in the Tallahassee Democrat for his outstanding Cartoon Character work that spans 25 years.Neil also creates professional hand painted signage for local area business' that have style and personality.The Tallahassee American Legion is one of many of his clients in our area.Neil has provided cartoon illustrations for numerous childrens books as well.

Corneliuss famous Quick Sketch renditions are are highly sought after for events large and small events. Cornelius has provided his characatures and portraiture for: Burt and Loni Anderson, Jeb Bush, Prince Saud Al Saud, Governor Martinez, Governor Graham and many many more notable personalities ! " Fairy Emma," is actually a design major at FSU( who has been with BJs Party House Performers now) for one year. Emma is a phenominal face artist and a chameleon when it comes to character work."Fairy Emma"is well known for her "Pop Star" carioke impersonations, her fun parties, her puppetry and her restaurant work.".Fairy Emma" is highly professional, enthusiastic and she genuinely loves the children she works with!. We love having "Fairy Emma "on board" and you will too!You can see Fairy Emma every week on Tuesday evenings at Beef O Bradys restaurant in Crawfordville, Florida.

Jazmyne is truly the princess she looks to be. Beautiful, creative, fun loving and charismatic, Jazmyne is a delight at any childs party. Whether in her "I dream of Jeannie" attire, or as her adorable clown persona, this artist is an accomplished face artist as well as an engaging party leader. As an FSU sophmore this young lady has it all, beauty, intelligence and a love for children that is truly endearing and recommendable for your next event

Anklez the Clown is an incredible multi versatile young performing artist whos skills include stilt walking, balloon sculpting,magic, puppetry and fortune telling ( as Master Chance the fortune teller)~ Anklez has been with our company for one year now and continues to develop new and more challenging skills to compliment the others he has perfected.

Mango Man is the ultimate one-man-band! A veteran performer with a great sense of humor, Mango Man creates a fun, family experience that will provide the perfect opportunity for his audiences to play (and sing) along with him!.

Mango man is an accomplished musician who plays the guitar, the harmonica,and the tambourine as he sings favorite family classics (for all ages!). With Mango Man, you always get a toe tapping, knee slapping, fun and exciting performances for the whole family! Mango Man brings with him a wide selection of percussion instruments and enthusiasm to every event he graces with his enigmatic personality!

Mango Man also creates unique and wholesome entertainment for our"Sing a Gram" services! Characters like: Mr. Tuxedo Man, Great Big Gorrilla Gram, The Beatles Music medly (walk down memory lane) Chuckles the Chicken and even Marilyns (Happy Birthday Mr. President!) , all of these venues provide a hilarious vocal presentation that will keep your guests laughing, smiling and clapping in rhythmn to the undeniably great music of Mango Man the one man band!

ELVIS IS IN THE HOUSE!

Mike (Elvis look alike ) is a mesmorizing musician- whos musical prowess on guitar and vocals allow him a wide variety of performance opportunities! Mike loves impersonating the King of Rock, Elvis, with the asssistance of his lovelyy wife "Pricilla" at his side,and together they keep the audience rockin' and rollin' down memory lane!Mike also "rocks it" with great Sing A Gram performances for adults and character musical programs for children as well! We are very fortunate to include Mike in our book of "Must Haves" for your next event, large or small!

Mike is also an accomplished visual artist and teacher, and he can provide wonderful special arts classes for a limited number of young students in the workshop setting ! Everyone loves Mike., and you will too as He is creative , fun and talented beyond belief! Mike is a wonderful featured entertainer for all venues, for all ages!

KSHAW ENTERTAINMENT (Kyle the DJ )

is a handsome, young professional that can provide an impressive (class act )sound system with special effects, and a gift for creating a music mix that will keep audiences dancing and asking for more...

Gary is an FSU Theatre Major who loves character acting! This artist is versatile and enthusiastic and always willing to go the extra mile to please his young audiences. From Patriotic Sams Uncle, Superman, Spiderman, Batman, and Sponge Bob to Santa's Elf,and his other original characters,Gary will keep them smiling and laughing! Gary is also an aspiring puppetier and balloon artist. Keep your eye out for this young actor ! He is willing to leap into stardom!

Mike-the Quick Sketch Artist provides - Original Quick Sketch Artistry that is unbelievably accurate and intricate ! Mikes can create fantastic i 8x10 charcoal or pencil detailed portraits (as well as colored chalk renditions,) suitable for framing!. Mikes quick sketch art is remarkably accurate and refined. This artist always captures the true spirit of his subjects on his easel.

Mike is also an accomplished musician and gospel performer. Mike is well known in North Florida and South Georgia, for his precision and professionalism in performance! Mikes talents are well sought after so please consider booking him way in advance for your next event!

Robert -is an enthusiastic and talented young juggler, (and stilt walker), with great balloon sculpting capabilities ! Robert has been featured numerous times in the Tallahassee Democrat for his stilt walking prowess and for juggling fire , pins, clubs, knives , fire, scarves, balls, and fruit!

You can see Robert on his stilts at every Tallahassee Down town Getdown, entertaining the masses, and watching out for the safety of the children from an eagle eyes vantage point.Robert is a gifted, polite and dedicated up and coming artist (and a great asset for all events !.)Robert has been working with our company now for the past three years and we are proud to have him as part of our troupe!

Robert is a young college student who is fantastic with young people! In the summers Robert works full time with at risk kids in a rural camp setting! We are proud to have Robert on board as an accomplished and much sought after performer in our troupe!

GARRET, CHRIS AND JOHN, TEMPORARY AIR BRUSH ARTISTS

Did you know that Temporary Air Brush artists can provide alcohol based body art tattoos that can remain on the skin for up to two weeks (with care?) These tattoos are removed by rubbing alcohol and are great for all ages and all venues! Temporary Air brush Tattoo Artists also can provide water based art work for up to 35 people with in one hour (removeable with water). Chris is pleasant, courteous and skilled in this art form with an acclaimed back ground in visual art and computer graphics WE are pleased to represent Chris in this unique , fun and creative art form! Laos and Alan, are two brothers (Teachers) whos reputation for amazing juggling, yo- yo and crystal ball, fire and poi juggling and outstanding pin manipulation is well known in North Florida and South Georgia. Both brothers are instructors in their crafts, and their shows are tandem performances( or solo,) depending upon the needs of the client. Both of these brothers translate their juggling technique into spell binding visual displays of strength and dexterity- for large and small audiecnes.

Laos and Alans juggling workshops are fun and affordable for kids of all ages.Many of our local after school programs seek out the expertise of this talented duo for work, throughout the year.We are thrilled to have the opportunity to book the incredible talents of this dynamic duo for the past 7 years!

Alice is a talented and versatile Young lady with an extensive back ground in dance and fashion design! .Alice has a love for children and for her art -that transcend just a" passing interes"t! Alice is graceful, beautiful and down to earth. The characters that she brings to life are charming , intelligent and loving, and children just take to her no matter which professional persona she takes on.! Often performing on demand, as a princess, a ballerina, and a clown Alice is well on her way to creating her own fan base of children and their parents!

APRRENTICES IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Ashley is a creative and versatile performer with a wonderful sense of humor, and dedication to her art form! Ashely is an accomplished apprentice puppetier and costumer for her puppet creations as well as student director of productions for our five man (puppet) shows -that tour our schools and park centers! Under the tutledge of BJ The Clown,Ashley takes the time to develop the best production possible in weekly rehearsals( with the artists )and it is often evidenced in the attention to detail that the children enjoy so very much, in our tours.

Ashley is also a versatile character actress that is not afraid to take risks when it comes to costuming and character believability!Look for Ashleys next student production of "Arnos Adventure" in October, when this musical puppet show takes on the topic of Bullism in our schools! Performance opening is schedualed for a tour of Tallahassees Parks and Recreation Centers in late October of 09.

Joe is a witty and funny performer who is versatile beyond belief! Joe enjoys the smiles and the laugh of the families he delights ( while performing one of his many superhero characters)! Joe also has a one of a kind character, known as the THE Seminole Superfan The "Nole Nerd" who takes the term,football enthusiast- to the limit(!) and keeps our Nole fans in "stitches"!!!! Available for "Nole Nerd a grams" Joe is a busy actor, constantly creating new material for his clients! We are proud and pleased to welcome Joe to our entertainment staff!

Courtney is a talented , creative and motivated young artist whos love for kids and desire to please the audiences she serves, makes her Number One in our book.Courtney is beautiful and skilled in face art and games and activity interaction with large and small crowds. Courtney is loveable as her character (Jazmine) and as her clown character also! Courtney is adorable, sweet and caring and children everywhere sense this awesome presence about her in performance and in real life. We are very fortunate to Courtney added to our staff this year!

Jasmine is a beautiful and talented young artist who has recently joined us for little girl parties and events!. Perfectly suited for the role of the beautiful new Princess (love interest of the notable public domain version of the Frog Prince) . Jasmine is as kind and sweet as her the character she portrays and families just love her! Jasmine is also a budding visual artist whos oils just earned her a winning spot in a prestigious New York young artists comptetion over the summer. Jasmine is apprenticing and will soon aspire to professional status , under the tuteledge of our seasoned veteran artists .

Brittany is a talented and creative visual artist also furthering her career in Theatre Arts in her sophmore year. Under the guidance of Rosie the Clown for face and body art, and Mr. Tyger for balloon art, Brittany is in the process of creating her own , unique characters for children! Brittany is apprenticing in puppetry and face art, and will prove to be quite an asset to our company in the comming months!

Alisha is the youngest apprentice in our troupe. Smart, focused and motivated, Alisha came to us unexpectedly, and upon unanimous approval our troupe we have taken her under our wing, to train as rigourously as the rest of the new artists.! Alisha is interested in becomming a well rounded model, and actress and working behind the scenes at this time, is the best place to start!

Juliette is an adorable, creative theatre major in her first year at FSU. Juliette has a great sense of humor and timing and her clown character is refreshing and spontaneous. Juliette is studying face art , Puppetry and Hair with Flair techniques and we are expecting inspiring performances from this young lady in the future!

Dani has a wonderful bubbly personality that she is able to channel creatively into the character of her choice! Children love this creative, skilled and enthusiastic performer! Danis skill at providing clever and unique Hair with Flair art has impressed many a Down Town Getdown family, and already Dani has been requested for numerous private functions in our area!Every performance for Dani commands all of her energy and attention to detai! We are proud to present this amazing artist in our troupe, and we know you will enjoy her performances as much as we do!

Jade is fun, bright and also enthusiastic,in her work with children. Jades primary character is a princess, and a beautiful princess, she is!! As a new University student, Jade is anxious to study hard, develop her performance arts skills and make lots of little smiles on the faces of the children she loves so much! We are happy to introduce Jade as a new talent into our troupe of established performers( as an apprentice artist.)

HAIR WITH FLAIR FOR THOSE WHO DARE!

Rosie , Twiggy Ceil, Jazmine, and BJ ,pride themselves on creating wonderful, unique fascinating designs for Hair( with colored sprays, scrunchies, hair tyes, elastic bands, flowers, silks , ribbons, glitters, fabrics and stencils) This art form can embellish any rock star party (or other specialized) theme oriented party or festival event.

BJs Party House performers can also provide a service known as" Costumes on Wheels." This is a unique and exciting program for our Leon County Schools.This project can costume musical productions in Themed costumes- for all ages.

BJs Party House performers also specialize in theme oriented puppet shows, often with casts of 5-7 performers at a time. Shows are educational in nature and can be portrayed in the classroom, or auditorium setting.Puppetry workshops with performers in the classroom are also available.
